Associate of Applied Science Degree
If you earned your journey card through the Sheet Metal Institute apprenticeship program after June 2018 and have completed the 5 year apprenticeship, we have exciting news! Thanks to our partnership with Mt. Hood Community College, you’re now eligible to receive your Associate of Applied Science Degree. This means that you’ll receive full credit for the coursework you’ve already completed-no additional credits necessary.
Steps to Apply
- Log onto MHCC.edu.
- Go to MyMHCC login & enter your six-digit MHCC student ID number.
- The default username will be your six-digit MHCC student ID number.
- The default password will be your six-digit birthdate.
- From the Frequently Used Links, select Apply for Graduation.
- Select “Submit a graduation application” and complete the form.
- Choose Associate of Applied Science Degree, Apprenticeship (AAS).
- Provide your job title.
- Upload a photo or scan of your *journey card.
You’ll receive an email from Parchment approximately four weeks after the school term ends. This email will confirm your diploma mailing address and provide access to your digital diploma. Your physical diploma will be delivered via mail within two to four weeks following the email confirmation.
