Lisa Bloker has served as an office specialist at Sheet Metal Institute since 2016, helping members with everything from scheduling classes to navigating their training center needs. For Lisa, supporting members goes beyond day-to-day responsibilities. She values being someone they can turn to when they need information, assistance, or simply a listening ear.

Her connection to SMART Local 16 spans more than 25 years. Before joining Sheet Metal Institute, Lisa spent almost 10 years working for SMART Local 16. She also worked as a part-time bookkeeper for a small nonprofit and spent seven years as an education assistant with the Estacada School District.

The sheet metal trade is also part of Lisa’s family. Her husband, brother-in-law, and son all completed the apprenticeship and worked as journeymen with SMART Local 16.

Outside of work, Lisa is a mom of two sons and a grandma to one grandson. She also has four pets she affectionately refers to as her “fur babies.” She enjoys working in her yard, making cards, doing craft projects, and spending time at the beach.
